2 Player Games

Discuss, 2 player games at Community forum; Does anyone know any really cool 2 player games – not serious games like Quake or Street Fighter. I’m looking for a really stupid two player game thats fun and will last ages.

Game also looks interesting. I like the idea of different types of games playable with the same set of cards and if you can deliver all that you are promising looks as though Edadh will offer a lot. Our group recently took a foray into Corunea which made similar claims but met with mixed reactions.

Some download games for free (like Resistance) have splitscreen co-op mode, but I am not sure about the demo. It is not a game you would like to play with your 9 years old brother, either.

There are a lot of board games that work well with two players. Before you select your next board game for couples, review the basic premise of the game’s play and compare it against the personality styles of both players.

SWOS is probably the best ever Soccer game, it includes limited management options wich make the game even more playable and the 2 player games are considered the finest in any soccer game.

This game is a definite improvement over the original Mirra and offers large levels, fun and challenging level goals, cool music, and good graphics. This sounds like a nice combination because it is one. Dave Mirra 2 is #2 behind Tony Hawk 3 as far as extreme sports games go.

Backgammon is a dice-based strategy game where players roll, count and move game pieces across the game board. Portable versions of this game make it a favorite for vacation play.

The game gets really interesting when someone picks a powerful samurai character like the Ronin. I destroyed a coworker who was using the Mosu Ninja. e would dart in and attack and I would take him down with a few powerful swings.

Scrabble is a word game where players form words using their own letter tiles as well as the tiles used by the other player to form words.

The sing player game of Bomberman never really got me, but multiplayer was awesome. I know the SNES version and TG-16 version were multi, but I don’t remember on the NES.

This game is really good and the idea of having big will is really good aswell. The game is sort of easy at the begining but they do get harder. The 2 player games are rubbish but it is a good single player game.

Cribbage is a counting card game where the points earned are tracked with pegs on a game board.

Pretty much every sports game made by EA. Hot Shot Golf is the best golf game on console, IMO, w/ up to 4 players.

All in all, Archon Ultra is barnone THE best version of Archon ever made, and quite possibly one of the best strategic 2-player games on the planet. Just be prepared to devote some time to learning its nuances, as it’s definitely NOT a game you can master overnight.
