It is a video game conceptualized and developed by Nintendo for Nintendo DS handheld console. After the release of Super Mario Games Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, it became the first authentic side-scrolling console game to star super Mario games since 1992.

Super Mario Bros. 3 offers a more advanced gaming-experience in comparison with Super Mario Games. series. This is seen in the introduction of a map screen, mini-games, more power-ups, enemies, and level types. Bowser made his red-haired debut with this game. Now it’s the job of Mario and Luigi to retrieve the wands from Bowser’s kids.

Now the responsibility falls on Mario and Luigi once more to save the Princess.

Fortresses and mini-fortresses are an added feature of SMB3. For every world there is one fortress. It’s here that Mario initially meets the airship for that particular world. After a level is finished, a box carrying a power-up item appears which must be hit by Mario in order to finish a level. The theme song “King of the Koopas” featured in the album “Super Mario Compact Disco”.

The most popular video game in the history of video games was Super Mario Brothers 3. In gross sales Super Mario Games 3 was the second most super mario games sold to the Original Mario Bros. Technically that makes Super Mario Brothers the most sold ever video game because the Original Mario Brothers came with the Nintendo Entertainment System. Another later release of the Nintendo System would come with a Super Mario Games 3 bundle pack instead of the Mario Bros/Duck Hunt bundle pack.

Also introducing Bowser’s children Larry Koopa, Morton Koopa Jr., Wendy O. Koopa, Iggy Koopa, Roy Koopa, Lemmy Koopa, and Ludwig von Koopa.

Super Mario Bros – A Detailed Look

Mario Bros started off as an arcade game made by the gaming giants Nintendo and was first released in 1983. Later on portable versions for home gaming systems were developed. Designed by Shigeru Miyamoto, it was the first game to use Mario’s name in the title (Mario was called Jumpman in earlier versions). It also starred Mario’s brother, Luigi (hence the name Mario Bros.) who later became a permanent fixture of Super Mario games. A remade version of the game is included as a mini-helicopter game within the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) release of Super Mario Bros. 3 and also features in the remake, Super Mario All-Stars. Most, if not all, Mario Bros games revolve around the main theme of this one. Some of the later versions include, Super Mario Advance, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Mario Clash.

Game Boy Advance, Game Watch, Saga, Virtual Boy and Virtual Console all offer Super Mario games.
